About Stoddard CMC
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring glory and honor to Jesus Christ through the giving of our time, talent, energy and material goods.
Our desire is to grow into spiritual maturity in order to experience and live out the love and grace of God.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide a place where all feel welcome and hear the Word of God.
Our Core Values
Respect, Understanding, Unity, Service, Compassion, and Love.
What We Believe
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord and Savior.
We believe in the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the revealed Word of God, inspired by God, it is true and without error and it contains all things necessary for our salvation.
We believe the only way to of salvation is to confess our sin and to trust Jesus Christ alone as our personal Savior and Lord.
The Experience
Each worship celebration features a sermon that challenges the intellect and warms the heart, inspiring music and a dedicated time for the children. We welcome you as you are, and always have friendly ushers available to help you if you need assistance with anything.
Now, you probably have some questions. We’ll try to cover some of the common ones here :
What do I wear?
As long as you wear clothes, we're happy. Christmas Services tend to be a little more business casual, some where suits and others jeans. Just come as you are.
How will I know what to do?
Our whole congregation is here to make sure our guests feel welcomed and accepted. This means making sure you know where things are, and exactly what to expect on a Sunday morning as much as possible. We do this through multiple ways: on-screen announcements, bulletins, a staffed information center, signage, and smiling, helpful faces throughout the building. Need help with something? Just ask!
What do I do with my kids?
We have a Children's Sermon incorporated into the Worship Service about half way through the service each Sunday at which time all children are encouraged to participate. After the Children's Sermon, Sunday School starts in the basement of the church, again, all children are welcome. We have activity bags available as well, and one of our Ushers would love to get for you.
What happens after the Worship Service?
All are invited to join together for fellowship in the side room after the service. We serve coffee, refreshments and snacks.
Am I allowed to take Communion?
Everyone who enters our church is invited to take Communion if they like.
If you have other questions, please contact us.
